La multinacional danesa Hummel vestirá al RC Celta durante las próximas cinco temporadas, según informó este lunes la entidad presidida por Marian Mouriño. La firma se encargará de suministrar las equipaciones de juego, entrenamiento y la línea lifestyle para el primer equipo, así como para todas las secciones deportivas y categorías inferiores del club.
La propia Marián Mouriño expresó su satisfacción por el acuerdo, destacando que “nos une para las cinco próximas temporadas con una marca de gran prestigio y que ha mostrado una gran sensibilidad para entender la esencia y los valores de nuestro club”. Añadió que esta nueva etapa se emprende con ilusión y gran confianza, mirando al futuro con ambición, apoyados en la identidad y raíces del Celta.
José “Coe” García, presidente de Hummel, destacó que el Celta es un club “con una larga historia, una gran afición y un ADN único”, por lo que para su empresa es un “honor” acompañar al equipo vigués durante su etapa en LaLiga.
Por su parte, Hummel ya viste a equipos europeos como Everton FC, Southampton FC, FC Colonia, Werder Bremen, AS Saint Etienne, Brondby FC y la selección nacional de Dinamarca. En España, la marca también equipa a dos clubes de Primera División (Real Betis y UD Las Palmas) y a otros de Segunda División (SD Eibar y CD Tenerife).
